Today I tried a new type of running, a low heart rate run. These are supposed to boost recovery and make you faster in the long run (who wouldn’t want that?). I set myself a goal HR of under 160 and every time I went over that HR I’d slow down, walk or stop. I struggled to keep a low HR on the hills so did have to stop after most of them even though I didn’t feel tired at all 😂. I felt like I did when I just started running and would just jog around enjoying my music which was nice but I also felt like such an old lady 😂 all in all- I will keep doing a couple of low HR runs and see if they help in the long run.
